Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gastroenterologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders, along with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role requires proficiency in various medical procedures and an understanding of the latest advancements in gastroenterology. Travel throughout our California clinics is required for this job position.

Qualifications:

  • Board certification in Gastroenterology is required.
  • Strong clinical expertise, with an emphasis on gastrointestinal procedures (Colonoscopies, EGD’s)
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose gastrointestinal diseases and conditions through appropriate tests and imaging.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Perform endoscopic procedures, including biopsies and polypectomies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Provide education and support to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
  • Stay updated on advancements in gastroenterology practices and technologies.

Skills

  • Proficient in medical terminology related to gastroenterology and related fields.
  • Strong understanding of medical imaging techniques relevant to gastrointestinal diagnostics.
  • Experience with suture techniques for minor surgical procedures.
  • Knowledge of addiction medicine as it relates to gastrointestinal health.
